It is not the aim of this site to list all links to Rizaliana. Listed below are the more important writings vis-a-vis Rizal's role in Philippine history and our understanding of his role. For more information about certain works of Rizal, please visit one of the general websites below.

We provide this listing of great websites on Jose Rizal to point the reader to further sources of information.


A comprehensive site of materials on and by Rizal, and is designed to "assist students in the appreciation of the role of Rizal in the development of the Filipino nation." It includes articles on Rizal's childhood and family, personal philosophy and education, and even love life. Rizal's works can also be found on the site, including a listing of his paintings, sketches, sculptures, and maps and plans. There are no pictures though (except for sculptures). Most of Rizal's poems can be found either in English or in Tagalog (but not in Spanish). There are excellent student guides (character analysis, chapter summaries) of both the Noli Me Tangere and the El Filibusterismo, but in Tagalog. There are articles on Rizal's relationship with the Katipunan and the Propaganda Movement. Text of Rizal's retraction and analysis of same can also be found on the site.
